What is CaSSOA accreditation and why does it matter?
CaSSOA is the Caravan Storage Site Owners' Association, the UK industry body for storage sites. They independently assess sites against security and access criteria and award Silver, Gold or Platinum ratings. Most insurers reference CaSSOA standards when deciding whether to offer a discount on stored vehicles, so a CaSSOA-standard site is the easy answer when your insurer asks where the vehicle lives.
Will my caravan or motorhome insurance be valid if I store it on your site?
In most cases yes, and many insurers will offer a discount because the vehicle is stored on a secure compound. Always check with your own insurer first — give them the site address, mention the CCTV and gated access set-up, and they will tell you if anything else is needed.
Can I get to my vehicle whenever I want?
Yes. Pitches come with secure gate access so you can drop off and collect whenever it works for you, including evenings and weekends. We will go through the access details with you when you arrive on site.
What sizes of vehicle and trailer can you take?
We accommodate the full range of touring caravans, motorhomes (including A-class and large coachbuilt), box and flatbed trailers, plant trailers, horseboxes, and trailered boats and PWCs. Get in touch with the dimensions of your vehicle and we will confirm what we have available.
Is the storage indoor or outdoor?
We focus on hard-standing outdoor pitches, which suit the vast majority of caravans, motorhomes, trailers and trailered boats. If you have a specific covered or indoor requirement, ask — we can discuss what is realistic for the size of vehicle involved.
How does CCTV and security work in practice?
The perimeter is fenced and gated with electronic access control. Cameras cover the entrance, the perimeter and every pitch, recording 24/7 with infrared at night and motion-triggered alerts. Vehicle entries and exits are logged, so there is a clear audit trail of who has been on site.
Do you offer short-term or seasonal storage?
Yes. We have owners who store year-round, owners who only use the site for the winter off-season, and businesses who store seasonally for fleet vehicles. Tell us what kind of pattern you have in mind and we will work with it.
